When you write, tell us the phone number your account uses and, if it helps, the version and build number shown at the bottom of the Settings screen. That lets us find the problem faster.
Report someone or block them
Every profile has a ⋯ button — on the card in Discover, and at the top of a conversation. It gives you two options:
- Block — takes effect immediately. The person can no longer see your profile, appear in yours, or message you, and your match is removed. They are not told.
- Report — choose a reason and it goes to our moderation team. We review every report and act on those that break our rules within 24 hours.
You can review and undo blocks under Settings → Blocked people. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services first, then report the account to us.
Delete your account
Open Settings and tap Delete account at the bottom. Your profile, photos, matches and messages are permanently removed from our servers. This cannot be undone, and we do not keep a copy.
Common questions
I am not receiving the verification code. Check the country dial code above the number, and that you are on the number you typed. Wait for the countdown to finish and tap Resend. If it still does not arrive, email us with the full number including the country code.
Nobody is showing up in Discover. The app needs your location to find people nearby. Turn it on in Settings, then widen the distance and age range. In a new area there may simply be few people yet.
My photo will not upload. Photos must be under 8 MB and can be at most six per profile. If the upload fails on a mobile connection, try again on Wi-Fi.
How do I stop appearing in Discover? Turn off Show my profile in Settings. Your account stays, but nobody sees you until you turn it back on.
Is DiDate free? Yes. If we add paid features later, the price will be shown before you buy anything.
Do I have to be 18? Yes. DiDate is only for people aged 18 and over, and we remove accounts belonging to anyone younger.
