DiDate (“the app”) is published by KIX Software (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who may use DiDate

You must be 18 years or older. We ask for your date of birth when you create your profile and we refuse accounts under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.

You may hold one account, it is personal to you, and you may not sell, share or transfer it. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping access to your phone number secure, since that number is how you sign in.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and messages you put into DiDate. You give us permission to store them and to show them to other users in the ways the app is designed to work — your profile to people in your discovery area, your messages to the person you sent them to.

Only upload photos you have the right to use, and only photos that show you. Do not upload photos of other people who have not agreed to it, photos taken from elsewhere on the internet, or photos where you are not recognisable as the person in the profile.

3. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour

The following is not allowed anywhere in DiDate — in profiles, photos, or messages:

  • Nudity, sexual content, or sexually explicit requests
  • Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, or unwanted contact after someone has stopped replying
  • Hate speech or attacks on people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation
  • Violence, or content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Anything involving minors, in any form
  • Prostitution, escort services, or any exchange of sexual acts for money
  • Selling or promoting drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods
  • Impersonating another person, or using a false identity, false age, or photos that are not you
  • Scams, financial requests, investment or cryptocurrency schemes, and requests for money from other users
  • Spam, advertising, recruiting for other services, or automated messaging
  • Collecting other users’ data, scraping, reverse engineering the app, or interfering with our servers

Breaking any of these rules can lead to content being removed and the account being suspended or permanently removed, without notice and without refund.

4. Reporting and blocking

Every profile in DiDate has a Report option and a Block option, reachable from the profile screen and from inside a conversation.

Block takes effect immediately. The person you block can no longer see your profile, can no longer appear in yours, and can no longer message you. You do not need our approval and we do not tell them.

Report sends the account and the reason to our moderation team. We review every report and act on those that break these terms within 24 hours. Depending on what we find we remove the content, warn the account, suspend it, or remove it permanently. Where the law requires it, we pass information to the authorities.

You can also write to us directly at [email protected].

5. Moderation

We may review profiles, photos, and reported content to enforce these terms. We may remove content or accounts that break the rules, and we may act on a first report where the breach is serious. We are not obliged to monitor everything, and we do not check every message.

6. Meeting people in real life

DiDate introduces people. We do not run background checks and we cannot verify that anyone is who they claim to be. Use your judgement:

  • Meet in a public place the first few times
  • Tell someone you trust where you are going
  • Arrange your own transport there and back
  • Never send money to anyone you met in the app, whatever the reason given
  • Move slowly with personal information such as your home address or workplace

You are responsible for your own safety when you meet someone. If something happens, contact your local emergency services first, then report the account to us.

7. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. Deleting removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages from the service. This cannot be undone.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, that is used to harm other people, or where we are required to by law.

8. The service itself

DiDate is provided as it is. We do not promise that you will find a match, that the app will always be available, or that it will be free of faults. We may change features, add limits, or stop the service, and we will give notice inside the app where we reasonably can.

To the extent the law allows, KIX Software is not liable for indirect losses, lost opportunities, or for what other users do — in the app or outside it. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be removed by agreement.

9. Payments

DiDate is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, the price and terms will be shown before you buy, purchases will be handled by Apple or Google, and refunds will follow their rules.

10. Privacy

What we collect and why is set out in the DiDate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use DiDate after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Questions, complaints, and legal notices go to:
