Hopzy (the “game”) is published by KIX Software (“we”). This document explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

Our principle is simple: the game collects only what the leaderboard needs to work. No ads, no behavioural tracking, no data selling.

1. Data we collect

Player name. You choose it the first time you open the game. It is shown publicly on the leaderboard. Do not use your real name, phone number, address or any other personally identifying information.

Scores and duel statistics. Best score, wins, losses, rating.

Country. Derived from your IP address when the server receives a score, used to rank you within your country. We do not store the IP address once the country code has been derived.

Anonymous player code. A random string generated by the game to recognise your device across sessions and to enable duels. It is not linked to your identity.

Abuse reports. When you report an offensive name, we receive the reported player’s code and your own player code.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect real names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, GPS location, advertising identifiers, or any other device identifier. The game contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. Data stored on your device

Game progress, unlocked characters, sound and language settings, and your list of hidden players are stored on your device only. Uninstalling the game deletes them.

4. How we use the data

Only to operate the leaderboard, ranking and duel features; to act on abuse reports; and to prevent cheating. Nothing else.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties, except where required by law.

6. User-generated content

Player names are public content. The game filters offensive names automatically at entry, and lets any player report an offensive name using the flag button on the leaderboard. When you report someone, they are hidden from your leaderboard immediately. We review every report and may remove the offending name or permanently block the offending device.

You can review and unhide the players you have hidden in Settings.

7. Children

The game is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children. Because we collect no personally identifying information, no children’s data is retained. If you believe your child entered personal information into the name field, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Retention

Scores and statistics are kept for as long as the game is operated. Abuse reports are kept for at most 12 months.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data tied to your player code. Send your request with your player code (visible on the Leaderboard screen) to the email below; we respond within 30 days.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
